Brian Wyers - Artist Biography

Born in 1947, Brian continues to live in Toronto on the Scarborough Bluffs. Although studying Architecture, he went on to the field of display for 20 years becoming known for his provocative and innovative style working in high end shops, department stores, and trendy boutiques. His 10 year concurrent trade show design/build interests led him into the field of faux finishing where he went on to paint some of Toronto’s landmark buildings and for some of its most prestigious inhabitants.

20 years later, as of 2004, he has realized his true passion; painting on canvas, mainly large, colorful, florals, in a look he likes to refer to as “powerful serenity.”
